Peer Kriesel is a German artist, living and residing in Berlin. His work explores the subject of data protection, societal confusion and the ongoing struggle in politics marred by war and a lack of solidarity.
Kriesel works on a number of mediums such as acrylic, oil, watercolour paints to ink on a variety of materials; big and small. From used ticket stubs, old travel cards to canvases, characteristic of his work are fratzen, or grimaces in addition to layering and overpainting often with a street art aesthetic.
Kriesel has collaborated with designer Julianna Bass for her AW16 & AW17 collections shown on New York Fashion Week runways and presentations.
